Mariana Guerci is a visual artist and graphic designer born in Rosario, Argentina, in 1981.
She developed her career in Buenos Aires, where she also studied Graphic Design at the
University of Buenos Aires.
She worked as a designer and illustrator for several projects, studios and video game companies
in Buenos Aires and London, where she lived in 2012. She's currently living and working in
As an artist she began in the South American urban art scene, around 2005. Her work evolved
later to a more personal style developing an interest in the abstract form.
Her works were published in the UK, China, Spain and Argentina. She exhibited many times in
her country and participated in many international collective art shows since 2007.
In 2013 she also began to publish fanzines with her work and collaborations with other artists.
Conceptually she develops an interest in urban morphology and human intervention in nature,
observing the constant reconfiguration of the urban space, as something alive and dynamic. The
current speed of changes and uncertainty is reflected in her work, which is also constantly being
rethinked, and evolves through different projects and life experiences.
